Interview Assignment Best Practices
Through our partners’ experience with Quinncia, we have learned that the students best learn from our system from short frequent assignments. In this article, we explain how to break down the interview piece into manageable portions for students. We’ve found that when students use Quinncia in these smaller more frequent iterations, they comprehend the information better and have a superior overall experience.
If you have any questions about these best practices, please feel free to reach out to your University Relationship Manager.
Assignment #1
First, have the students try out some practice questions on Quinncia. This will allow them to select their question type to practice, therefore familiarizing themselves with the different question types that could come up in an interview. This will also allow them to practice talking directly to their computer so when they take their mock interview with Quinn they will be comfortable.
Assignment #2
Next have the students actually schedule and complete their mock interview with Quinncia. Be sure they submit them for feedback. Then the student can review their feedback and see how they are coming off on all the key data points that employers actually evaluate when using AI interviews in the hiring process.
Assignment #3
Now have your student identity a low-performing data point from their feedback that they want to work on. Before they take their interview again, have them research/practice on how to improve. They can access our Quinncia resources via this link: help.quinncia.io. Now have them retake their mock interview to see if they improved!
