Quinncia Accessibility

Quinncia is ADA Level AA compliant. Students with disabilities can use a screen reader to access Quinncia.

We strive to make Quinncia accessible for as many students as possible so they can improve their scores and storytelling abilities. However, each student has different needs that can impact how or if they use Quinncia.

Note: If applicants aren't hitting typical ranges during the AI interview, they will be flagged for an actual person to review.

How schools work with students with disabilities is similar to what companies do during the recruiting process. When a candidate declares a disability when applying for a job, the recruiting team will decide if they want them to have one-on-one interviews or go through the same process as the rest of the applicants.

Schools often make accommodations for students when they meet with them initially. They then decide if the student should use Quinncia or if the team should devote one-on-one time with them.

For example, if a student has a hearing or speech disability, a student could use Quinncia on their own after their initial advisor appointment. If the student has a disability that prohibits them from using Quinncia, then the university would often stick with one-on-one advisor appointments. The advisor and their team generally make this decision on a student-to-student basis.

From what we have seen, the more time a student spends on Quinncia, the more their outcome improves!
